DPS-1 is a kit that allows SBus developers to design new subsystemshardware or convert existing designs to SBus systems without having toknow in detail the operation and timing of the bus.DSP-1 consists of a prototyping board with standard interface logic, aDMA controller, and a basic software package for designer customization.Connectors, brackets, and jumpers are all provided.The designer can increase prototyping area by ordering additionalexpansion boards that plug into the DPS-1 prototyping area. Depending onthe requirement, the designer can order a single-, double-, or triple-width expander board.
